A Chinese group has recently taken over an US based business, Smithfield Foods China in a deal which is regarded as one of the most expensive one. This event triggered US lawmakers to ponder over the reasons of enhanced Chinese interests in US products and firms. Many US attorneys are of the opinion that Beijing is behind the takeover but they do not have any substantial evidence to prove their point.
